At Indian Fresh Produce Company (IFP), we have developed a business plan, that would create an absolute synergy amongst Bio-Engineering Company, Pre & Post Harvest Management Company, Crop Insurer, Logistics Company, Marketing Company, Retailer and the Banker as an ESCROW Manager. This would be totally an un-matched competition, a WIN WIN situation for each and every entity, connected to this entire food chain, where we shall not only grow our stocks, but will also be able to bring in a positive transformation in the rural Indian economy with tremendous ECONOMIC and SOCIAL fallouts for every individual, society as well as our nation.
India as the 2nd largest horticulture producer worldwide loses almost 40% of its produce as post harvest losses. At, Indian Fresh Produce Company, with Post Harvest Management Technology, we will almost eliminate these losses, and add real value to Indian fresh produce.
Our target market is Delhi & NCR with a population of 20 million people. A very conservative assumption, that an individual consumes 500 grams of fresh produce daily, the total consumption = 10,000 M/Tons per day. To begin, our target is to market 100 M/Tons daily, later we would expand our volumes & also replicate our business model in other parts of India.
Indian fresh produce market being largely managed by unorganized sector, & riddled with unethical trade practices, both at the farm and market, are highly detrimental to Indian fresh produce industry & our economy. To reverse these un-ethical trade practices, Indian Fresh Produce Company would introduce an absolutely Transparent & Technology driven operation. Application of appropriate PHM technology, advanced storage management of fresh produce, shall considerably extend the shelf life of our fresh produce, thereby extend availability & consequently improve our bottom lines.
Our proposed synergy will harness the absolute potential of Indian farmer, & will provide value for money to the consumer. This would be a WIN WIN situation for every entity, connected to this chain, with tremendous ECONOMIC & SOCIAL fallouts for every individual, society as well as our nation.
